World Cup of Bond Villains — Connery era villains

The preliminaries of our World Cup of Bond Villains continues with our celebration of the villains of the Sean Connery period: Dr No, Rosa Klebb, Kronsteen, Emilio Largo and, of course, Auric Goldfinger. Through these characters we discuss the development of the Bond villain and in some cases, ask if they are relocatable to today.

There is also some side conversations about the quality of or indeed existence of these villain’s secret lairs. We also wonder which is the better way to go: drowning in a pool of acid or being buried under a pile of bird shit.
